2012 EKC Rotterdam

The first EKC was held in Rotterdam on January 22, 2012 and was hosted by Joris van Nispen of Shofukan Rotterdam.

Lecture was held by Mr. Hunter B. Armstrong:

‘Function Drives – Using Japanese Combative Traditions / Systems To Illustrate How Systems Alter to Suit New Ends’

Five schools were represented in the public embu:
  • Hozoin ryu Takada-ha 宝蔵院流高田派
  • Muhen Yougan ryu 無辺要眼流
  • Sho Sho ryu 諸賞流
  • Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto ryu 天真正伝香取神道流
  • Shinkage ryu 新陰流
